HOW I HELP
Currently I primarily work with adults, though I have worked extensively with children in the past. I utilize a variety of approaches to help people achieve their goals. My approach is relational and heavily informed by attachment theory. From a base of relational psychotherapy, I also utilize the following modalities to optimize healing:
- Parts Work: Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Ego State Therapy
- Clinical Hypnosis
- Somatic (Body Based) & Sensory Approaches
- Family Systems and Systemic Therapy
- Psychodynamic approaches
- Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) & Play Therapy with Children
I'm a certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant, trained in level 1 of IFS and ego state therapy, and a CPP Therapist. I'm also trained in clinical hypnosis and Deep Brain Reorienting.
The fee for a 60-minute therapy session (in-office or telehealth) is $225. I also offer in-home visits with children if appropriate. In-home sessions are $300 for a 60-minute session. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, and credit card. I do not accept insurance at this time, but can provide a superbill if your insurance accepts out-of-network providers.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
If you think that you may be in interested in seeking services with me, I offer a free 20-minute consultation. The purpose of these consultations is both for me to get a better sense of what you're wanting from therapy, as well as for you to find out more about me and how I work so that we can see if it feels like a good therapeutic fit. If for some reason it does not feel like a fit, I offer referrals when possible. If you're interested in a free consultation, please call me at (650) 503-3334 or email me at: email@example.com.
