Overcome the Past
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that is effective for many issues.
It has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. To date, EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress. EMDR works by targeting and resolving disturbing memories. Because of this, EMDR has been widely used to treat a variety of conditions and diagnosis which have disturbing memories as a contributing factor.
In addition to helping overcome past traumas and stressful events, it is also effective in assisting with performance issues for athletes, performers, public speakers, and the like. Performance related issues include such things as test anxiety, interview and public speaking fears, and sports performance issues.
